About the Programme

World-Recognised Qualifications for the Path Ahead

Cambridge Upper Secondary offers two internationally recognised qualifications — Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level — designed to inspire students to love learning and develop deep subject knowledge and skills for the future. Both build on the foundations of Cambridge Lower Secondary and are recognised by universities around the world.

At JPIC, Upper Secondary is where students define their academic strengths and chart their course to Advanced. Our teachers guide students through a broad and balanced curriculum, helping each learner build the subject expertise, critical thinking and confidence they need for A Level and beyond.

Assessment

Fair Assessment, Global Standards

Both Cambridge IGCSE and O Level assessments take place at the end of the course, using a range of assessment types to give every student the best opportunity to demonstrate their learning.

01 · End-of-Course Assessment
All examinations take place at the end of the course, with a linear model that gives learners more time to develop deep subject understanding before being assessed.
02 · Tiered Options
Some subjects offer Core and Extended tiers, ensuring learners of all abilities are assessed positively while allowing the most able students the chance to excel.
03 · Range of Assessment Types
Written, oral, coursework and practical options give students more ways to demonstrate their learning — particularly important for non-native English speakers.
04 · Cambridge ICE Certificate
A group award for IGCSE students studying at least seven subjects including two languages — popular in India, Latin America and the US, and a strong complement to IGCSE results.
